- -All participants (Malaysian and foreigners) are required to have a 'Yellow Fever Vaccination' certificate upon entering or when coming from Yellow Fever endemic countries (As stated in International Health Regulations 2005 and Prevention and Control of Infectious Disease Act. 1988).
- Participants from outside of Malaysia who fail to provide a 'Yellow Fever Vaccination' certificate will be quarantined upon arrival to Malaysia for 6 days.
- An international 'Yellow Fever Vaccination' certificate is valid for 10 years, starting from 10 days after the vaccine is given.
- Should a person be revaccinated before the 'Yellow Fever Vaccination' certificate expires, the validity of the certificate is extended for a further 10 years.
- If the revaccination is recorded on a new certificate, participants are advised to keep the old certificate until the new one is valid.
